Welcome to Three Wishes, a delightful semi-detached holiday home nestled in the peaceful village of Winchelsea, East Sussex. Perfect for families or friends, this cosy cottage comfortably sleeps six guests across three well-appointed bedrooms.
The property spans two floors and features a light and welcoming interior. Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2 each offer a comfortable double bed, while Bedroom 3 is furnished with two single beds – ideal for children or friends sharing. A full bathroom serves the household, with an additional washbasin in Bedroom 2 for convenience.
Relax in the inviting lounge with a television for cosy evenings in, or gather around the dining table, which seats six (extendable to eight) for leisurely meals. A well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, combined washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, oven, and coffee machine. Central heating ensures year-round comfort, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Outdoor Space & Amenities
Guests can enjoy the peaceful garden, with a table and six chairs available during the warmer months. Street parking is usually available within 60 metres of the property.

During your stay look out for historic buildings dating back to the 13th century, cobbled streets and panoramic views that you really can’t miss thanks to Winchelsea’s hilltop location. The heart of Winchelsea is the 13th century church. The town is known as being the smallest in the country, with panoramic views in all directions. When you book with us you should expect a quiet and tranquil stay whilst being in the centre of a Town. Winchelsea also has a lovely pub & local shop.
The town boasts a variety of walking trails to allow you to explore the best that 1066 county has to offer, including the grace of old castles, ancient walls and other remnants of history. Farmland and idyllic countryside views give way to a beautiful pebble beach, so flat you can see for miles. Explore by sea with kitesurfing and boat hire for those with an adventurous spirit, or stick by the locals and opt for a tour of local vineyards or a tour of local history.
Rye is five minutes away, with shops – restaurants and pubs.
Winchelsea train station is around a 15 minute walk down the hill…
Buses also stop regularly in the town centre – one minute from the property.

Sandunes House is situated in Camber Sands, just a stones throw away from the fabulous sandy beach. The house has a homely feel and is the perfect place for a relaxing break by the seaside. The house is light and airy with a balcony out front and a garden with a patio and BBQ at the back for alfresco dining on warm nights. Alternatively, you can relax in the lounge with a comfy sofa and armchairs to watch TV after a day at the beach. There is also a toy box, board games, Nintendo Wii and DVDs for children of all ages.

Camber Sands is a small beach village boasting 7 miles of sand and sea. Its a perfect UK destination not only for summer, but also a windy winter beach break is just as enjoyable.
Rye is only a short 5 minute drive away and has a wealth of shops, restaurants, tearooms, not forgetting the huge amount of history that is also hidden amongst the town. With cobbled streets and old beamed houses surrounding the church it offers a lovely day out for adventure and good food.
Hastings is only 30 minutes drive and has a very lively fishing part of the town, along with the old town which is like stepping back in time. The seafront offers fun for all ages with crazy golf, arcades and lots of delicious food stops.
The local bus stops are on the main road which goes through the village. One way will take you along the coast to Rye, Hastings and Eastbourne. The other way will take you into Kent to Lydd and New Romney (home of the steam railway).
The nearest train station is Rye, with direct connections to Ashford International and Hastings.
The local taxi services are based in Rye.

This large secluded Victorian house sleeps 8 – 11 and has breath-taking views of the surrounding countryside towards Rye. Inside the rooms are light and airy. The property has undergone a total restoration and refurbishment. Period features have been lovingly restored and the ambience of the family home maintained.
The house is surrounded by three quarters of an acre of enclosed gardens and in addition there is a fenced, hard tennis court. The south facing brick paved terrace is a gorgeous suntrap with loads of flexible seating. The driveway provides parking for at least four cars.
The Highlands has five bedrooms (1 king size, 1 double, 2 twin rooms and a downstairs room with 3 single beds) and two bathrooms, one family bathroom and a downstairs bathroom with jacuzzi bath and walk in shower.
There is a large dining area that seats 11, perfect for family or friends getting together. The sitting room has an open fire and patio doors on to the terrace and garden. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a TV, radio, DVD and video player. Outside there is seating and dining space for 11 and a barbeque. Linen and towels are provided. 2 behaved pets allowed (see house rules).
Iden is a pretty and picturesque village with a pub serving food nearby and post office/general stores within a short walk of the house.
The historic town of Rye, one of the Cinque ports, is less than 3 miles away with its charming winding lanes, interesting harbour and the wonderful sandy beaches of Camber Sands beyond. Rye boasts some excellent restaurants, a weekly Farmers market, and a range of local shops including world famous Rye pottery.
The house is well placed, between Hastings (10 miles) Tunbridge Wells (15 miles) and Tenterden (8 miles). The castles of Battle and Bodiam are also within easy reach. Ashford is 15 miles to the north with its International Station for a quick trip to France. The Hythe to Dymchurch Light Steam Railway is also well worth a visit as it winds its way from Dungeness to Hythe all along the coast – take a picnic and stop off on the way!

Camber Sands is perfect for a family holiday or a romantic getaway. Camber Sands is home to a stunning stretch of white sandy beach, complete with undulating dunes and unspoilt views stretching for miles, across Rye Harbour to the east and the cliffs of Hastings Country Park to the west. Look closely and you may even spot a seal in the estuary. A truly relaxing and wonderful holiday destination.
Nearby Rye is a 13th century cinque port, host to the River Rother, Romney Marshes and a history dating back before the Norman Conquest. A cobbled town offering an excellent array of unusual shops, antique emporiums, galleries selling local artist paintings and pottery, Rye also has a delightful range of tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and historic inns. There is also a weekly general market on Thursdays, as well as a farmers’ market every Wednesday morning. Walkers and birdwatchers can enjoy a footpath leading across the marshes to Camber Castle built by Henry VIII. Local attractions include miniature or full-size steam train rides, local vineyards, stately homes, castles and gardens.
