There is a very large outside space surrounding the property with plenty of outside seating and loungers including a firepit and a Canadian canoe with two paddles and lifejackets. If you are looking for a property which can accommodate your pets you will be pleased to hear up to 2 dogs of any size are also welcome (see house rules). When entering the bungalow you will find a bright and comfortable lounge area where you can enjoy relaxing which has a smart tv and a cosy log burner for when the weather is cooler. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, oven & microwave leading to a conservatory with a dining table which is overlooking the garden and riverside. The quirky family bathroom has bath with overhead shower, basin & WC. The bungalow has two double bedrooms inside with an additional outside boathouse containing another double bed with central heating and sink.

The beach is what Camber is all about offering 2.5 miles of sandy beach and dunes. The area has plenty of water sports available from kite surfing to sailing. Bikes can easily be hired and there are cycle routes and walking paths literally from outside the house to Rye and beyond. Two great restaurants, The Owl and the Gallivant are in the village of Camber just along the seafront. There are also local shops in Camber where you can get any last-minute groceries or Rye (nearby) has a large supermarket, fishmongers, bakers and a good butchers and deli.

Camber Sands is home to a stunning stretch of white sandy beach, complete with undulating dunes and unspoilt views stretching for miles, across Rye Harbour to the east and the cliffs of Hastings Country Park to the west. Look closely and you may even spot a seal in the estuary. A truly relaxing and wonderful holiday destination.

Nearby Rye is a 13th century Cinque Port, host to the River Rother, Romney Marshes and a history dating back before the Norman Conquest. A cobbled town offering an excellent array of unusual shops, antique emporiums, galleries selling local artist paintings and pottery, Rye also has a delightful range of tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and historic inns. Sandunes House is situated in Camber Sands, just a stones throw away from the fabulous sandy beach. The house has a homely feel and is the perfect place for a relaxing break by the seaside. The house is light and airy with a balcony out front and a garden with a patio and BBQ at the back for alfresco dining on warm nights. Alternatively, you can relax in the lounge with a comfy sofa and armchairs to watch TV after a day at the beach. There is also a toy box, board games, Nintendo Wii and DVDs for children of all ages.

Camber Sands is a small beach village boasting 7 miles of sand and sea. Its a perfect UK destination not only for summer, but also a windy winter beach break is just as enjoyable.

Rye is only a short 5 minute drive away and has a wealth of shops, restaurants, tearooms, not forgetting the huge amount of history that is also hidden amongst the town. With cobbled streets and old beamed houses surrounding the church it offers a lovely day out for adventure and good food.

Hastings is only 30 minutes drive and has a very lively fishing part of the town, along with the old town which is like stepping back in time. The seafront offers fun for all ages with crazy golf, arcades and lots of delicious food stops.

The local bus stops are on the main road which goes through the village. One way will take you along the coast to Rye, Hastings and Eastbourne. The other way will take you into Kent to Lydd and New Romney (home of the steam railway).

The nearest train station is Rye, with direct connections to Ashford International and Hastings.

The Waves is a lovely contemporary but cosy beach house right next to miles of sandy beach at Camber Sands. Beautifully furnished in a modern style with wooden flooring throughout, The Waves has a spacious feel with its wide staircases and 3 good sized bedrooms arranged over 3 floors. The master bedroom has the added luxury of its own balcony, where you can sit and relax and watch the sun go down. The living area has wonderful patio doors which open out onto a private terrace which is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or for breakfast on the terrace in the morning sun.

Downstairs you will find a games room which is great for all the family or if visiting with friends, as not only does it store all your beach toys, wet suits and surf boards, but it also comes equipped with a ping pong table! The big flatscreen TV and free wifi are great additions to this property so you can relax and be entertained during rainy weather or fun evenings indoors.
